"A dream is a wish your heart makes..."
Four roommates/best friends had one wish:
to spend a weekend on the beach and at the happiest place on earth!
Luckily, their Fairy Godmother was available to grant their wish!
(Thank you, Miriam's car, for getting us there; thank you, Uncle Tony, for lending us your beautiful beach house; thank you, Martin Luther King Jr., for deserving your own holiday by creating such a legacy that got me a day off from school; and thank you, Mickey Mouse, for being the greatest boss ever by providing me with pretty amazing work benefits!)
Good bye, Provo!
(from left to right: Miriam, Hannah, Amy, Me)
Our 10 1/2 hour drive was filled with singing at the top of our lungs, girl talk, quick naps, homework, a flat tire, a stop in St. George to visit Amy's Dad and have dinner with my mom, and a huge sigh of relief when we finally reached Laguna Beach, California at four in the morning.
Amy's a huge cupcake-lover! The rest of us love cupcakes as well. So, evidently, this was became our breakfast...don't judge :)
I tried their new s'mores flavor; Amy enjoyed a classic red velvet; Hannah tackled a delicious peanut butter, chocolate taste; and Miriam experimented with German chocolate.
All the flavors were divine in their own ways, and all of them suited us.
Sprinkles... I really can't describe how delicious their cupcakes are! If you ever have the chance to try them, DO IT!
Our next adventure took us to the streets of Laguna. Seeing how the other half lives is pretty entertaining - not to mention the cute boutiques, fun bakeries, and the gorgeous shoreline we encountered along the way!
I found a bug! Haha, literally...
The amazing Wahoos served us up a delicious "fishy" lunch!
It's a great place for a very reasonable price, especially for California. However, don't think you'll get away with filling up your water cup with soda...the alarm will sound!!
